What is a streak?

Streaks are a core part of Palteca, that help you maintain your daily learning goals.

Updated yesterday

Your streak is the number of days in a row you've practiced Spanish in Palteca.

Every day you complete a lesson or Review session, your streak grows by one β€” and the goal is to keep it going for as long as you can!

Streaks are a great way to stay motivated, build a daily habit, and watch your progress add up over time.

How do I keep my streak going?

To keep your streak alive, just do one of the following each day:

  • Complete a lesson (all the way through), or

  • Finish a Review session (available once you've created flashcards)

You only need to do one of the two β€” whichever fits your day.

When does my streak reset?

Streaks reset at 2:00 AM local time. As long as you've finished a lesson or Review session before then, your streak carries over to the next day. Otherwise it will reset back to 0.

Do I need to complete all my daily goals?

Nope! You don't need to hit every daily goal to keep your streak going. One completed lesson or Review session is all it takes.

Do Activities count toward my streak?

Activities don't count toward your streak, only lessons and Review sessions do. Activities are still a great way to get extra practice, though!
