Sorry you've run into a bug! Before reporting it, there are a few quick things worth checking — sometimes it's something simple that can be fixed in seconds.

First, try these quick checks

A lot of issues come down to one of these, so it's worth running through them first:

  • Check your storage — make sure your device has enough free disk space

  • Check your connection — a weak or unstable network can cause unexpected issues, especially with loading audios and/or videos

  • Update the app — make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store (iPhone/iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

  • Check microphone permissions — if the issue is related to speaking exercises, make sure Palteca has permission to use your microphone

If the issue is still there after all that, here's how to report it.

Is it a content issue or an app issue?

There are two different ways to report a bug, depending on what kind of issue you're seeing:

Content issues

A content issue is something within a lesson or activity — like a typo, an incorrect image, confusing wording, or audio that doesn't sound right.

To report it:

  1. Open the lesson or activity where you spotted the issue

  2. Tap the Flag icon at the very bottom

  3. Follow the prompts to send us the details

This sends the report straight to our content team so we can fix it quickly.

App issues

An app issue is anything related to how the app itself is behaving — like crashes, login problems, screens not loading, or features not working as expected.

To report it, please send us an email at [email protected] and include:

  • Your device type (iOS or Android), and device model if you know it (e.g., iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S24)

  • The email address you use with Palteca, if different from the one you are using

  • A description of what's happening, including steps to reproduce it if possible

  • Screenshots or a screen recording if you can — these are super helpful for figuring out what's going on

The more detail you can share, the faster we can get to the bottom of it and resolve it as soon as possible for you.

Thanks for helping us make Palteca better!
